Zorderz 1.6 is out.
Zorderz is free, open source service business management software you run on your own WordPress site, and this version makes it faster to get started.
You can read the code in the repository, or download it from the release page.
One upload, not two
A new install used to take two files: the theme first, then the apps.
Now you upload just the theme, and it installs and activates the apps for you.
So a fresh Zorderz is a single upload.
If your host will not let it do that on its own, it tells you the one manual step, so nothing breaks.
Set up in two moves
The last version let you pack your whole business into one data file.
Put those together and setup is two moves: upload the theme, then import that file.
Your catalog, your team, your estimates and invoices, your images, and your settings all come back, ready to work.
Why this matters
Getting started should not be a checklist.
The less time you spend installing service business management software, the sooner you are back to your actual work.
That is the point: Zorderz gets out of your way.
