Zorderz 1.4 is out.
Zorderz is free, open source company management software you run on your own WordPress site, and this version lets you take all of your data with you.
You can read the code in the repository, or download the theme and apps from the release page.
Export all your company data
There is a new tool that saves everything your business has put into Zorderz to a single file.
That means your settings, your price list, your staff, your estimates and invoices, and the rest, all in one download.
You can keep it as a backup, or load it into a fresh Zorderz install and move your whole business over in one step.
It leaves out your private connection keys to outside services, so the file is safe to store or hand to someone helping you.
Before it writes anything, an import shows you exactly what it will restore, so there are no surprises.
Also in this release
The built-in estimates are more reliable, and they price every line correctly when you type or dictate one.
We also fixed a few smaller issues, including one where a saved key could show on a settings screen instead of staying hidden.
What comes next
The next goal is to make moving in even easier: reading the tools you already use and setting Zorderz up to match how you work.
For now, this is company management software whose data is truly yours, and you can pick it up and take it anywhere.
